Who We Are
KOTC
Knights Order of the Temple of Christ is a faith-driven missionary organization built on a simple but profound conviction: that our skills forged through military service carry a deeper responsibility — one that extends beyond the battlefield and into the service of Christ.
KOTC was founded by Yoda, a combat-experienced veteran with 12 years of military service. Driven first and foremost by his faith in Jesus Christ, Yoda recognized that the expertise and experience he had gained operating in austere and dangerous environments were not his to keep. They were entrusted to him for a purpose. That conviction gave birth to KOTC — an organization dedicated to using those abilities to Protect, Rescue, and Restore the persecuted around the world.
For Yoda, the mission is ultimately spiritual. Every operation, every hardship, every sacrifice is worthwhile if even one life is rescued, one soul brought closer to Christ. It is that eternal perspective that shapes everything KOTC does — from the way we train, to the way we operate, to the partnerships we pursue.
We go where few are willing or able to go. We serve those whom the world has forgotten. And we do it all in the name of the One who first served us.
Our Calling
At KOTC, our mission is to serve the most vulnerable people in the world's most dangerous places. We exist to protect the innocent, stand with the persecuted, and bring practical, tangible help to those who have been forgotten or abandoned. Rooted in faith and equipped through rigorous training, we go where the need is greatest — not because it is easy, but because it is right. Every life matters. Every person is worth fighting for. That conviction drives everything we do.
Our Values
-
At the core of everything we do is a desire to see the Kingdom of Christ advanced. We believe the most profound act of service is sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and we pursue that calling through tangible acts of love — particularly toward the vulnerable, the forgotten, and the persecuted.
-
We serve with humility, recognizing that every ability, opportunity, and success we have is a gift from God. This work is never about personal recognition or glory — it is about reflecting the servant heart of Christ and placing the needs of others above our own.
-
Honor is not just a value — it is a standard that guides every decision and every action. We hold ourselves to a code of integrity, honesty, and moral courage in all circumstances, whether on the field, in leadership, or in daily life. We do what is right even when no one is watching.
-
We are called to courage in every form — spiritual and physical. This means standing firm in faith when tested, confronting evil without hesitation, and placing ourselves between the vulnerable and those who would harm them. We do not shrink from hard places or hard truths.
-
KOTC is built on a foundation of deep, committed brotherhood. We stand by one another in the field and in life, bearing each other's burdens and holding each other to the highest standard. Loyalty to God, to the mission, and to one another is not optional — it is who we are.
-
True discipline begins from within. Members of KOTC are committed to continually deepening their personal relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, study of Scripture, fasting, and acts of service — not as a requirement, but as a response to God's grace. That spiritual foundation flows outward into every area of professional conduct, personal accountability, and pursuit of excellence in training and service. We believe that a person who is disciplined in faith will be disciplined in all things.
