Our Team

  • Master of the Temple

Yoda is a combat-experienced veteran with 12 years of service across 2 Militaries, serving in infantry, special operations, and special activities intelligence roles, including combat deployments in Iraq and Ukraine. Having operated in some of the world’s most dangerous environments, he brings extensive combat experience together with a deep grounding in biblical faith.

His founding and development of KOTC, and his work within the Order, are driven first and foremost by his faith in Jesus Christ. He seeks to use the skills and experience gained through military service to Protect, Rescue, and Restore the persecuted Church, defend the innocent, and serve those in need. For him, the mission is ultimately spiritual, if even one life is rescued or changed and brought closer to Christ, then every hardship and sacrifice endured in service is worth it for the sake of the Lord.

While he remains committed to traditional ministry and missionary service, Yoda came to believe that the modern world presents challenges the broader Church is often not equipped or prepared to confront. Through years spent operating in austere and dangerous environments, he recognized that the experiences and skills he had gained carried a deeper responsibility. The creation of KOTC was born from the conviction that those abilities should be placed in service to Jesus Christ—used to defend the persecuted Church, protect the innocent, and serve in places where few are willing or able to go. In his view, failing to use those God-given experiences and capabilities in service to the Lord would be a failure to faithfully steward what had been entrusted to him.

  • Seneschal

Brecht is a former special intelligence operator with nearly a decade of service in infantry and specialized intelligence roles, he worked in environments where discretion, discipline, and precision were essential. His experience includes reconnaissance, intelligence collection, and operational planning in permissive and non-permissive environments, enabling operations designed to degrade violent extremist organizations and disrupt hostile networks.

During his service he trained and mentored small teams in advanced weapons handling, tactical movement, and close-quarters combat while helping develop sound operational judgment in uncertain and high-risk environments. Part of his work involved contributing to the development of specialized intelligence elements working to build a more direct operational capability within the intelligence space.

Earlier in his career he worked in international banking and strategic finance, supporting global market strategy and analysis before ultimately pursuing military service.

Grounded in the traditions of the Orthodox Christian faith, he approaches his work with humility, discipline, and a commitment to quiet professionalism. He believes true capability is measured not by recognition, but by preparation, responsibility, and faithful service.
